I started to climb when i was 20 years old, since then I opened 2 boulder gym’s in Lisbon, the last on is the biggest in Portugal.

2014 Paraclimbing world championships in Gijon, Spain : 3rd in the B2 category.

July 2015 : first blind person to summit the Eiger in Switzerland with the successful ascent, the route we took was the west flank route.

2017 World Cup series : overall winner in the B2 category.

I climb in the B2 visually impaired category which is for people with up to 5 percent vision i have 3 percent and wear two hearing aids, i am currently ranked world number 6 in this category.

J’ai commencé l’escalade à 12 ans au sein de l’association sportive de mon collège et me suis inscrit l’année d’après au club Vertige. J’ai très vite accroché à l’ambiance, l’état d’esprit et les valeurs de ce sport. J’ai commencé par des compétitions au niveau départemental en difficulté et en bloc et j’ai rapidement rejoint le circuit national.
En 2009 mon club dispose d’un nouveau mur sur lequel je découvre la voie officielle de vitesse. J’ai tout de suite adoré cette discipline et j’ai commencé à m’entrainer pour les compétitions nationales tout en continuant la difficulté et le bloc.
J’ai été sélectionné en équipe de France de vitesse pour la première fois en 2010 et j’ai pu participer à une étape de coupe du monde et aux championnats du monde.
En 2011 je gagne à la fois les championnats de France de bloc et de vitesse en cadet.
Je vis depuis 2013 à Grenoble et m’entraine quotidiennement au Pôle France de Voiron.
Mes meilleurs résultats en compétition sont une 5ème place en coupe du monde et la victoire aux Jeux mondiaux militaires.
Il est maintenant rare que je grimpe en falaise mais ma meilleure performance est un 8a+.
Mes objectifs sont de réaliser un podium en coupe du monde et aux championnats du monde.

Some information about me:
I have started climbing when I was six years old, in 2005. My family do not climbing expect my little sister. Back then we went swimming in a sports centre and I always saw the climbing gym besides the swimming pool. After that I really wanted to go climbing and I loved it! I cannot imagine a life without this sport.
My favourite discipline is lead but I also like bouldering especially for the training. When the competition season finishs I love to climb on the rocks.

In my freetime I listen to music, bake something or visite my friends and family.

I am 24 years old and just three years ago that I started deeply with my passion !, climbing. Since then I have not stopped training and climbing on rock when I had the opportunity. Last year I did my first national performance in Holland Known as NSKB and despite being my first competition I left with good feelings, being in ninth place, then I did an other one in den haag and I got the second place. I work in Gropo Bouldergym as a rout setter. As for my maximum grade made in rock this winter I was lucky to be able to do the « Mega puerta » 8a in the Escorial and « Le vent dans la plaine » 8a in Fountainebleau. Then I made several 7c + as well as « Las 9 Revelaciones in zarzalejo », El Australiano in zarzalejo … Several 7c in fountainebleau as well as the Bérézina, Simetry, La Gaule, Eclipse, Furtive version 7c …

The first things I remember from my childhood are all connected with climbing and traveling. This tells a lot about myself. It all began very relaxed. My dad got a small kids harness and I was allowed to “climb“ and « rapel“. To be honest, the rock was not much higher than a man tall. I scrambled up with hands and feet and he lowered me down. Anyway, I had lots of fun, right from the beginning.
My ambitions changed quite fast. It started as an infrequent activity and went into a very regular training structure quite soon. Gym during the week besides school and rock on weekends & holidays. This is how I liked it.
After a couple of years training paid off and I could push my personal limits. I really started to implement climbing and training as a part of my lifestyle and enjoying every moment of it.

Outside she has climbed up to and including 7a+ sport routes and has also bouldered 7a/V6.
Our recent trip to Margalef at Christmas she onsighted two 7a’s

We will have another trip to Margalef in February with 7b as our main goal.
The summer will shall head to Fontainbleau and Ceuse.

We are also going to attend Imst this year which will be her first international competition

Here’s my path:
This past year I’ve been training exclusively indoors for comps! Here were my accomplishments:
• Member of Team Canada (2018)
• 69th at my first World Cup, in Munich! (August 2018)
• Won Quebec Bouldering Provincials (December 2018)

And we have Canadian Nationals next month! I’m working a lot on dynos and overhang climbing (my weaknesses). My favourite is slab!
